We'll get to the nitty-gritty and reveal what happened:

So we were upgrading our servers and anticipated a downtime of not more than 10 minutes.
During the upgrade process, we noticed that one of our core database server- running MySQL started to peak (CPU).

We took this particular MySQL server offline and migrated to a backup server and the problem just compounded. Our engineers burnt the midnight candle and worked all night to bring up all the servers.

Thanks for your patience as we bring dekhona.com back to its superior speed and high availability.

Dekhona.com is becoming viral

You may've noticed that we've been quiet past few weeks. Well, while we've kept our Mouthshut, we're working hard, behind the scenes.

We're growing leaps and bounds--yeah yeah we love to boast, but seriously traffic on dekhona.com is growing so fast that our Engineers are grappling with server issues, day and night!

Like last week, on Saturday, dekhona.com video servers were tad slow. We realized that traffic was up 170% compared to the previous day.

We worked all night and added more servers. Overall traffic is now up 200% compared to last week. And our team is ready to meet future traffic growth. We just need more $$$ so that we can buy more servers. Hey, we're arranging those millions from investors!

So what's hot this week? Geez I never knew that a South Indian actress Reshma is so popular- her videos have been watched like a million times.

India-Pak cricket stuff is hot. And ofcourse, everything that's yours- is for all to enjoy.

Enhancements
We’ve made Video of the Day, more prominent. It is now showing on the top right hand side of the homepage. Now no more dhoondte reh jaoge (hidden-in-the-corner) for Video of the Day unless you’re really DUH!

Top or Bottom. How does it matter? Both give you the same results. Approach search from the position that suits you best and locate the video you so badly wanted to see.

Related Videos Enhancements
While watching a video, the related video tab now shows just that – videos relevant to the one you’re watching. So guys and gals, com’n, watch more videos. It’s all yours for free.
